Commendation from Kelley Student Government

Recognized for second annual “Lights for Life” event led by Balance at Kelley. As the faculty advisor for this group, this event started in 2017 and is still going strong. It honors and remembers the 1,100 college students who die by suicide each year.

Imposter Syndrome is a normal human experience - up to 82% of us experience it at some point in our lives. Learn how it affects us, where it comes from, and how to take away its power. Participants report this program making a huge difference in their work and personal life.

Learn how being present, opening up, and doing what matters will lead you towards living a meaningful and values-based life. Participants will walk away with a plan for improving four main areas of their lives: work, relationships, leisure, and personal growth/health.

Creating an authentic personal brand

Sometimes personal branding can be viewed as “fake” and something that only influencers create. Participants in this program will learn how to create a personal brand that is authentic, differentiates them from others, and is proven by their experiences.

Using research from Shawn Achor (Harvard) and Dr Laurie Santos (Yale), participants will learn what makes humans happy, and just as importantly, what doesn’t. Combine this knowledge with techniques to reduce anxiety, and this program has been called life-changing by participants.
